2022 - The Beginning
In 2022, B1 Ventures was born. What started as a personal vision quickly turned into a remarkable achievement. Our Managing Director, Samer Makki, set out on his own with a bold goal: to raise more than AED 9M in capital.
Against expectations, he didn’t just meet the target—he doubled it, successfully raising over AED 18M.
It was the point where Samer realized that B1 had the potential to become something much bigger.
2023 - Building Momentum
In 2023, B1 Ventures set out with a mission: to bridge the gap between untapped capital and underserved SMEs. Within months, that mission gained real momentum, attracting [7] forward-thinking companies and helping fund a wave of emerging businesses aimed at growth.
2024 - The Growth
2024 marked a year of acceleration and strategic depth for B1 Ventures. After a strong start, we doubled our investor base and helped fuel the growth of even more promising SMEs, raising over $63 million in capital along the way. With every investment, we got better—refining our tools, building trust, and proving that smart capital can create real, lasting impact.
2025 - The Expansion
By the end of 2025, B1 reached a major milestone—not just by curating attractive investment opportunities, but also by strengthening investor confidence and expanding our growing community of partners.
Over the course of the year, we successfully raised more than AED 224M, a powerful testament to the trust our investors place in us and the value we continue to create in the market.
Many of our early backers chose to reinvest, reinforcing their confidence in our strategy and in the opportunities we bring to the table. Their continued support reflects the strength of our model and our commitment to delivering well-curated, high-potential investments.
This achievement marks a new chapter for B1 as we continue expanding our reach, matching capital with promising SMEs, and empowering more investors to access strategic opportunities built for sustainable growth.
2026 - The Acceleration
In 2026, B1 continued building on its strong momentum, focusing on scaling its investment platform and expanding access to high-quality opportunities for investors and SMEs across the region. By the end of Q1 2026, we had already raised more than AED 11M, marking another strong step forward and reinforcing the continued trust of our growing investor community.
